Brother Jerry has served as Pastor of Prestonsburg First Baptist Church since September 2006. He grew up in Kenova, WV and is a graduateof Marshall University (Accounting). He holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. In 1969, at the age of 13, he received Christ as his Savior. He and his wife Pam have one son, Chris.

Chris Kazee – Associate Pastor for Youth and Children
Brother Chris has served as Associate Pastor (Youth and Children) at First Baptist Church since March, 2010. He grew up in Ashland, KY and is a 2005 graduate of the University of Kentucky (Biology). He holds a Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Bro. Chris came to faith in Christ at a young age, but truly began to grow in faith during his college years. He enjoys fishing, hunting, camping, and outdoors in general. He and his wife (Laura) have one daughter, Addison.

Glenda has served as Director of the Baptist Learning Center since April 2001. She holds a degree in Elementary Education from Pikeville College and aMasters degree from Morehead State University. A retired public school teacher, in addition to herLearning Center responsibilities she keeps busy with other church related activities and spendingtime with her two grandchildren. Glenda acceptedthe Lord as her Savior in June 1959. She and herhusband, Eugene, have been members of PrestonsburgFirst Baptist Church since January 1990.
Ruth Roberts

Ruth Roberts – Secretary/Treasurer
Ruth has served as the church’s Secretary and Treasurer since May 2010. A graduate of Paintsville High School, she attended Prestonsburg Community College. Her extensive past experience in the corporate world serves her well in her position as Secretary/Treasurer. Ruth accepted Jesus Christ on September 26, 1990, and has since served faithfully in various ministries of the church. She and her husband (Roy) have one son, Kyle.
